Nathan Miller, a reporter who sees his recent divorce as an opportunity for a do-over on his love life.But just as he’s ready to make his move, his father, Tom announces he’s been inspired to divorce his mother, Carol, after 43 years of marriage.That’s a real shame, because these cranky, argumentative and crude people were gift-wrapped for each other.It’s a shame for Nathan because Mom moves in with him, blanketing his life with her overbearing meddling.And not in a good way.Tom, meanwhile, moves in with Nathan’s sister, Debbie “The Millers” seems to hint that it will branch out beyond annoying-parent jokes, but if the lazy crudity of the jokes is any indication, we don’t have all that much to look forward to.
