Billions renewed for a second season by Showtime
Showtime’s new series Billions premiered earlier this fall, received a quite good audience response. Billions is a very different take on the lifestyles of the ultra-rich and infamous. It follows the world of high finance and tells a story feauring power politics. The series stars Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti and is set in New York. Billions works best with show’s most interesting and complicated character, and by a comfortable margin, is played by Maggie Siff. It’s a show draped in betrayal, the FBI, sex, corruption, the SEC & Metallica.
Overwhelmed with the reviews Showtime confirms renewal of Billions for a second season. The show has been renewed after the broadcast of two episodes of the first season only. It can be seen on Sunday nights at 10pm on Showtime or stream for free at CouchTuner-Watch Series.
